“I’m thrilled that Karim will be leading our international presales team and leveraging his extensive knowledge of the modern cybersecurity landscape to benefit our enterprise customers. Karim’s experience will be invaluable to enterprises in EMEA and APJ as they work to leverage the threat detection and response solutions at their disposal to mitigate threats wherever they are – whether in the cloud or on-premise, across IoT devices, netflow, logs, packets, endpoints or the network,” said Dave Govan, Chief Revenue Officer of NetWitness. “We live in a world where security threats are changing rapidly, and Karim will help ensure our customers are prepared to face those threats.”

He has spent 15 years in the cybersecurity industry, helping organizations address their challenges in various disciplines, including network and web application security, threat detection and response, and identity and access management. Mr. Abillama holds an MS degree in Network & Systems Security from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon.

“My team and I will partner with organizations to address their cyber challenges, and extend the value of the NetWitness Platform to arm security teams with a robust solution for combatting threats,” says Mr. Abillama. “Equally, we will listen and strengthen ties with customers and partners, to better address current and future needs together.
